هدف انتزاعی: هدف از این مقاله ارائه تعریف و نمای مقاله های مختلف  در این موضوع خاص استطرح / روش: بحث و گفتگو مقاله، به بررسی تعدادی از مسائل مربوط به حسابداری در رسانه ها می پردازد.یافته ها: این مقاله به توصیف انواع رویکردهای نظری، روش شناختی و تجربی مورد استفاده در این موضوع خاص پرداخته است. علاوه بر این، این مقاله نشان می دهد که اگر چه رسانه ها  یک منبع غنی از اطلاعات آگاهانه و پژوهش حسابداری اند  ، اما  استفاده از متون رسانه ها به عنوان  یک منطقه حاصلخیز پژوهش باقی خواهد ماند.مفهوم عملی: تصویر حسابداری در رسانه ها از علاقه به حسابداری محققان، پزشکان، کارآموزان و حسابرسان است اصالت / ارزش: این مسئله خاص طیف وسیعی از نمونه های حسابداری در رسانه ها و مجموعه دستور کار برای تحقیقات آینده را فراهم می کندکلمات کلیدی: حسابداری، شرکت ارتباطات، رسانه های اطلاعاتی
